Introduction::
  Modelling is the art of learning how to walk, to move and show off clothing to the best effect to help sell it. When potential customers look at the model, they generally imagine themselves in that outfit. clothing is designed to appeal to the people leading specific lifestyles as well as to those simply aspiring to them. The entire effect created by the model, the mood, the clothing, the art direction and the advertisement placement, must enhance the image of the clothes and be consistent throughout.
Nature of Work:

The modelling business can be broadly classified into ramp modelling, television modelling and print modelling, but more often than not, these areas overlap and most models do it all. To make it in modelling, what you need, besides the very necessary physical attributes, is a large network of contacts to get your first break. Once that happens, excellent communication skills are required to keep the network growing!
Eligibilty:

A female modelling aspirant needs to be at least five feet and ten inches tall . As for men, the taller they are the better. To begin with one can approach the reputed modelling agencies with the portfolio of recent photographs. A good agency would frankly tell you whether you are a right person. Once chosen they groom you and help you choose assignments. You can also do the rounds of fashion magazines, advertisement agencies and even some ace designers. You can even mail your photographs to the agency's model coordinator.
