Why Liberal Arts and Sciences?

The United States of America supports an undergraduate Liberal Arts and Sciences Education to ensure a student is equipped to be a Global citizen. Knowledge from various subjects of study are taught in small classes with emphasis on a main subject of study.Here, a lower student-to-teacher ratio is maintained, than at large universities; where personal attention and skill building of students is emphasized upon. A student with a Liberal Arts and Sciences degree is considered more adept to face a globalized and changing world with various challenging job situations. It is earned over a period of four years.

SCHOLARSHIPS

PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP

These scholarships are granted upon the approval of the scholarship committee. Entering freshmen with outstanding academic achievements on the SAT are considered. A minimum 94 high school average and a minimum 1200 combined SAT score are considered. These are full-tuition scholarships (less outside aid) awarded to the most deserving students.

PROVOST SCHOLARSHIP

Entering freshmen with a minimum of 93 high school average and a minimum 1150 combined SAT score are considered for a $15,000 per year scholarship.

DEAN’S SCHOLARSHIP

Entering freshmen with a minimum 92 high school average and a minimum combined 1100 SAT score or higher are considered. These are $13,000 scholarships.

SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Entering freshmen with an 85 high school academic average and a 1000 total for math and verbal on the SAT are considered for a partial scholarship. Award can be up to $9,000 per year, depending on academic qualifications.

ACES GRANT

Available for International students who attend the ACES Programme in English and culture studies, a grant of 9000$ per year is granted per year.
